The Muhibbah Dinner Series Returns Featuring Six of Philly’s Most Celebrated Chefs Serving Courses for a Great Cause

The Muhibbah Dinner series returns this winter with its 12th installment, continuing a tradition that brings people together around food, storytelling, and cultural exchange. Curated by Chef Ange Branca of Kampar, the upcoming dinner takes place on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at BLDG39 at the Arsenal (5401 Tacony Street) in Philadelphia’s Bridesburg neighborhood, with free on-site parking available.

Since launching in 2017, Muhibbah Dinners have become a powerful platform for celebrating Philadelphia’s cultural diversity while supporting organizations that serve immigrant and refugee communities. To date, the series has raised more than $80,000 for local nonprofits, including HIAS-PA, Nationalities Service Center, SEAMAAC, Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture, Esperanza Immigration Legal Services, and more.

Proceeds from the 12th Muhibbah Dinner will benefit Puentes de Salud, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the health and wellness of Philadelphia’s rapidly growing Latinx immigrant population through accessible healthcare, innovative education programs, and community building.

Guests can expect a family-style, multi-course meal prepared by an impressive lineup of chefs whose backgrounds and cuisines span the globe. Participating chefs include:

  • Ange Branca (Kampar)

  • Yun Fuentes (Bolo)

  • Natalia Lepore Hagan (Midnight Pasta)

  • Brizna Rojas and Aldo Obando (Mucho Peru)

  • Enaas Sultan (Haraz Coffee House Fishtown)

  • David Suro (Tequilas and La Jefa)

Each chef will contribute a course inspired by their heritage, along with a personal story—transforming the evening into more than a meal, but a shared experience rooted in culture, conversation, and connection. Beverage service is BYOB, allowing guests to tailor the evening to their tastes.

The word “Muhibbah” comes from Malay and describes harmony among people of different races, religions, and cultures. In Malaysia, it reflects communal celebrations shared across communities—a spirit that defines the heart of the Muhibbah Dinner series. These dinners create space for meaningful dialogue around identity, migration, and belonging, all while highlighting the power of food to bring people together.

Tickets are $170 per person and can be purchased at muhibbahdinners.org/tickets. Given the intimate nature of the event and the impact it supports, early reservations are strongly encouraged.
