Some of the Region’s Top Roasters Will Be Pouring at the 3rd Annual Philly Coffee Festival

Coffee lovers across the city can look forward to the third annual Philly Coffee Festival, taking over the 23rd Street Armory on October 17 and 18. Billed as an immersive coffee experience, the two-day event brings together specialty roasters, coffee shops and food vendors for a weekend centered on tastings, live entertainment and coffee culture.

Organizers describe the festival as a curated showcase of some of Philly’s top coffee roasters, giving attendees the chance to sample a wide range of beans, teas and snacks while enjoying music and entertainment from local bands throughout the event. The idea is less about rushing through a checklist of vendors and more about settling into the atmosphere — sampling, chatting with roasters, and soaking in the live soundtrack inside the historic Armory space.

Attendees can choose between Early Admission and General Admission (GA) tickets for each session. Early Admission tickets grant entry one hour earlier than GA tickets and include continued access through the GA portion of that same session — that’s the only difference between the two ticket types.

So what’s included? Attendees will get to enjoy coffee tastings from participating vendors are included with admission, so guests can sip their way around the room in search of a new favorite. Food is not included but will be available for purchase throughout the event. Non-coffee drinkers are welcome too, with alternative beverage options available — though due to venue capacity, every attendee still needs a ticket regardless of what they’re drinking. Guests are also welcome to bring their own reusable coffee mug.
