Lapstone & Hammer Marks 10 Years With Exclusive Sneaker Release, Apparel Capsule, and Anniversary Party

Popular boutique sneaker and streetwear shop Lapstone & Hammer is celebrating its 10th anniversary in style — with an exclusive sneaker collaboration, a limited apparel capsule, and a celebratory in-store party.

To mark the milestone, Lapstone is releasing the ASICS GEL-1130 ’10 YEAR’, a limited-edition colorway designed to reflect the store’s signature aesthetic. The special drop will be available exclusively at Lapstone’s Center City shop and online at lapstoneandhammer.com beginning Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m.

The launch follows a 10th Anniversary Party at the shop on Friday, September 19 from 7–10 p.m., featuring drinks from 13th Street Cocktails, a DJ set by Frosty, early access to the “10 YEAR” collection, and a few surprise moments along the way.

The GEL-1130 ’10 YEAR’ features cream-colored mesh accented with metallic silver and gold, paired with black leather overlays—a palette inspired by Lapstone’s marble floors, brass fixtures, and leather couches.

“The GEL-1130 is one of our best-selling ASICS silhouettes and represents our growth over the past decade,” said Lapstone founder Brian Nadav. “This colorway perfectly captures our shop’s look and feel, and we’re incredibly grateful to ASICS for helping us bring it to life.”

Alongside the sneakers, Lapstone is releasing a “10 YEAR” apparel capsule created with two fellow Philly brands:

• Icarus Football designed two custom kits — an all-black short-sleeve jersey and shorts set and a camo long-sleeve version — both featuring Lapstone’s 10 Year laurel wreath logo.

• Mitchell & Ness produced matching black and camo unstructured “dad” hats and a black 5-panel snapback, all embroidered with the 10 Year logo.

The campaign for the collection stars Philadelphia’s One Way Crew, a group of local bike riders, embodying the energy and movement of ASICS Sportstyle’s “Move Your Body, Move Your Mind” ethos.

As Lapstone hits the 10-year milestone, Nadav shared his gratitude:
