Lapstone & Hammer and the Philadelphia Union Launch the Lapstone x Union Playoff Capsule as the Union Head Into the 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs
The Philadelphia Union and Philadelphia clothing retailer Lapstone & Hammer teamed up on the Lapstone x Union Playoff Capsule, a limited collaboration that commemorates the team’s run to the postseason. The capsule launched Saturday, October 24, at 10 a.m. at Lapstone & Hammer’s 1106 Chestnut St. location and online. That evening it launched at the Union’s Subaru Park Team Store during the team’s match against the New England Revolution, which kicked off at 7:30 p.m.
The Union have officially clinched a berth in the 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs.
The Union in the Playoff Picture
- Standing: The Union sit sixth in the Eastern Conference with 47 points heading into their final regular-season match.
- Decision Day: The Union close the regular season at home against Toronto FC on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET at Subaru Park.
- What’s at stake: A win or a draw against Toronto keeps the Union in the top seven of the Eastern Conference. That would let them avoid the single-elimination Wild Card round and move straight into the best-of-three Round One series.
According to Lapstone & Hammer, the Union have been unbeaten in the league since returning from the World Cup break.
The collection features:
- Track jacket and track pant: Classic silhouettes in Union navy and cream, with screen-printed logos and co-branding. The back of the jacket carries three stars representing the Union’s three USMNT players: Cavan Sullivan, Neil Pierre and Frankie Westfield.
- Navy camper hat: Triple-branded to commemorate the USMNT World Cup collaboration between Lapstone & Hammer and the Union this summer.
- LH Laurel crew socks
The capsule is available at Lapstone & Hammer’s 1106 Chestnut St. store, at the Union’s Subaru Park Team Store and online at lapstoneandhammer.com. Lapstone & Hammer invited fans to shop at the Chestnut Street store on launch morning and then head to Subaru Park to cheer on the team with the Sons of Ben.
