Find Your Scent: Perfumology 101 Returns for a Winter Edition Featuring Unisex Fragrances, Holiday Shopping Tips, and More
Philadelphia fragrance lovers are invited to explore the world of boutique perfumery this season as Find Your Scent: Perfumology 101 – Winter Edition returns for two sessions of scent discovery at Perfumology, located at 25 N. 3rd Street in Old City.
The workshop, curated and hosted by Jay the Gentleman in partnership with Nir Guy, owner of Perfumology and fragrance expert, offers an approachable and engaging way to learn about niche, unisex fragrances tailored to the winter months. Attendees will gain insight into how to identify their signature seasonal scent while sampling selections from some of the world’s finest perfumers.

Guests will enjoy light bites, wine, and curated fragrance samples during the interactive session. Each ticket includes unlimited in-store sampling, five take-home samples (each valued at approximately $10), and a raffle entry for a special giveaway at the end of the night.
While Find Your Scent is not a perfume-making or blending class, it offers an immersive experience for both beginners and fragrance enthusiasts to deepen their understanding of boutique and niche scents. This winter’s session will also introduce a “How to Buy” Shopping Guide — designed to help guests navigate gifting fragrances for others during the holiday season.
Building on the success of the summer sessions, this winter edition promises an intimate atmosphere where scent exploration meets seasonal celebration.
“With the resounding success of the Summer sessions, and the positive feedback received, it was only right to bring back this event for the winter season — and it’s just in time for the holidays,” said Jay the Gentleman. “Adding the Shopping Guide to this event will be educational and helpful for people’s holiday shopping this year.”
Each fragrance chosen for Find Your Scent: Winter Edition reflects the season’s character — warm, rich, and inviting — with notes that evoke everything from cozy gatherings to brisk winter nights.
