Culture Fest Returns to Liberty Point for a Waterfront Celebration of Black Culture, Creativity, and Community

Culture Fest 2026 is taking over Liberty Point on Saturday, June 27, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. for an afternoon dedicated to Black culture, entrepreneurship, music, fashion, and community.

Presented by Kabila Events, the fourth annual festival will transform the Delaware River waterfront into a vibrant gathering space showcasing the creativity and influence of the African diaspora. This year’s theme, “Afro Street Style: A Celebration of the Diaspora,” highlights the global impact of African heritage through fashion, music, visual arts, storytelling, and immersive cultural experiences. Tickets are available now on Eventbrite.

Set against sweeping views of the Philadelphia skyline and waterfront, attendees can expect an energetic atmosphere filled with live performances, DJs, local businesses, artists, and interactive activations designed to celebrate culture and connection.

“Culture Fest was created to celebrate the richness of our culture and create a space where people feel seen, connected, and inspired,” said Sonia Blount, founder of Kabila Events. “Every year we grow because people are looking for authentic and affordable experiences that celebrate who we are. Culture Fest is about honoring our roots, embracing our creativity, and bringing people together through culture.”

Music remains at the heart of Culture Fest, with an eclectic lineup representing the sounds of Philadelphia and the global African diaspora. Festivalgoers can enjoy performances and DJ sets from:

Throughout the festival, artists will create works in real time while attendees engage with installations inspired by Afro Street Style and the creativity of the diaspora.
