Bake’n Bacon Is Expanding With a Second Location at the Fashion District This Month

Philly’s only bacon-centric eatery, Bake’n Bacon, is sizzling its way into Center City with the grand opening of a second location inside the Fashion District Philadelphia on Wednesday, October 15. Known for its indulgent, bacon-forward comfort food and creative spins on brunch classics, this new outpost will introduce a fast-casual concept designed for busy shoppers and downtown workers craving something bold, flavorful, and uniquely Philly.

Owner Justin Coleman, who launched Bake’n Bacon from a food truck before opening the brand’s flagship restaurant in South Philadelphia, shared that the Fashion District approached him directly about bringing local flavor to the shopping destination.

“We were presented with this opportunity by the Fashion District to bring more variety and a local business to the mall as they were expanding their partnerships with different groups in or coming to the city,” said Coleman.

Unlike the full-service restaurant at 11th and Ellsworth Streets, the new Fashion District location will feature a streamlined menu blending favorites from the original restaurant and food truck with new dishes tailored for the grab-and-go crowd. Guests can expect highlights like the brisket cheesesteak, bacon caramel burger, and French toast options from the brunch menu, alongside new breakfast and lunch creations designed for fast service without compromising flavor.

The new setup will feature self-seating inside the food court, allowing guests to enjoy their meals within the heart of the bustling mall. Hours of operation are still being finalized, but the new Bake’n Bacon will be open seven days a week, ensuring bacon lovers can get their fix any day they please.

Coleman sees the new opening as a chance to introduce Bake’n Bacon to a broader audience.

“We want to show people in Center City who may not come to South Philly what we have to offer,” he said. “This will be an opportunity for them to try our food and hopefully bring them to our main establishment at 11th & Ellsworth St. And for those who aren’t bacon lovers, there will still be plenty of options to choose from.”

With its mix of crave-worthy comfort food, convenient location, and signature bacon-infused creativity, Bake’n Bacon’s Fashion District debut promises to be one of the tastiest new openings of the fall season.
