What’s the Dill?  Well apparently Baltimore will be one upping everyone this September when they host the largest pickle festival in the world. With only 100 miles separates The City of Brotherly Love and Charm City  Which is a short 1.5 hour road trip!

Festival organizers Viral Festivals and Power Plant Live! (1001 N 2nd St) will be welcoming passionate pickle fans from all over the Mid-Atlantic as The Big Dill™ World’s Largest Pickle Party invades  Baltimore on Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 from Noon to 6:00 pm (Early Entrance for VIP’s starts at 12:00 pm).

Baltimore’s first-ever pickle festival announces over 40 food trucks, vendors, bars, country music bands and carnival games that will take over Power Plant Live! serving up pickle-inspired everything and family fun in a full out Brine Bash!

Country Music Station 93.1 WPOC is a media partner and will be broadcasting LIVE from the festival with radio personality Francesca. 12,000 pickle loving fans have already joined the ever-growing Facebook event.

No festival would be complete without live music and the musical lineup for The Big Dill World’s Largest Pickle Party is sure to not disappoint. The Philadelphia 76ers’ resident DJ, DJ Mike

Stampone kicks things off and will keep festival-goers grooving all day long. For Country, Music Fans Put on your cowboy boots and jam out to Radio Nashville. Plus MC’s Moe Train & Chris Bruce will keep pickle fans informed and amused. And we can’t forget pop-up pickle parody songs throughout the festival.

Learn the ART of Pickling – Professor Shauna C. Henley from the University of Maryland will be teaching three demos at the festival where guests can learn the art of pickling from home.

Last but not least we have two great contests:

-The Pickle Brine Chug and The World Famous Pickle Eating Championship.

The pickle eating championship will take place on the MAIN stage. The event begins around 5 pm, interested participants can sign up through our Facebook Page sign-up sheet that will have a chance to win the Pickle Eating Championship Belt.
