Manatawny Still Works and Wooder Ice Team-Up for Limited Edition “Wooder Ice-y” Adult Slushies
Need to cool off this summer? Well Wooder Ice has team-ed up with Manatawny Still Works Fishtown (1321 N Lee St.) to create limited edition adult slushies, dubbed “Wooder Ice-y.” These new drinks were created to celebrate Philly’s favorite summertime treat. The classic cherry Wooder Ice-y features real cherries that were sourced locally.
This special collab will run a month-long and will kick-off Thursday July 20th with a special launch party from 7 pm – 10 pm featuring complimentary tomato pies from Pizzeria Beddia and hoagies from Liberty Kitchen. Along with the drinks and food, DJ Jovi will providing the tunes for guests. Wooder Ice-Ys will sell for $13 and guests will be able to try special flavors including:
- Cherry – Manatawny American Style Gold Rum, Local sweet and sour cherries from Green Meadow Farm and Three Springs Fruit Farm (@greenmeadowfarmpa @3springsfruit), lime and mint.
- Lemon – Three Bitches Vodka, Lemon and simple
- Miami Vice- A Mix of both Cherry and Lemon
Once these Wooder Ice-Y flavors run out, Manatawny will be rotating in new flavors including:
- Mango – Three Bitches Vodka, Fresh Mango and lemon
- Lime – Manatawny American Style Gold Rum, lime and mint.
“We wanted to create a special summertime beverage and what better way to do that than with some Wooder Ice inspo. Each flavor represents some of the popular “wooder ice” treats we all grew up enjoying. Now as adults, we figured we’d have a little fun with it,” states Jennifer Sabatino, Director of Business Operations at Manatawny.
Once these flavors run out, they are gone for good, so be sure to swing by and enjoy one, or two, or three.
