One of Philadelphia’s most iconic summer treats is taking center stage at the Jersey Shore as Ocean Casino Resort debuts its inaugural Water Ice Festival on Saturday, July 18, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Inspired by the beloved frozen dessert that has become synonymous with Philadelphia summers, the family-friendly festival will bring together some of the region’s most celebrated water ice and Italian ice makers for an afternoon of unlimited tastings, entertainment, and friendly competition.
Held at The Park at Ocean Casino Resort, the event arrives as Philadelphia prepares to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, shining a spotlight on one of the city’s most cherished culinary traditions. Tickets are available at theoceanac.com/water-ice-festival
Guests will have the opportunity to sample an array of flavors from vendors representing Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, and beyond while voting in the Water Ice Flavor Contest to help crown the coolest creation of the summer.
The festival will be hosted by Philadelphia favorite Aunt Mary Pat and is presented by Ocean Casino Resort in partnership with social media partner Wooder Ice, media partner Philadelphia Magazine, and radio partner Q102.
