Philly’s Own Chill Moody Launches His Inaugural “n͓̽i͓̽c͓̽e͓̽things Invitational Celebrity Tee Off”

If you’re a fan of music, beer, and golf, then Philly’s own Music Ambassador Chill Moody has an event for you. The music artist turned avid golfer is launching his inaugural golf event, the n͓̽i͓̽c͓̽e͓̽things Invitational Celebrity Tee Off on Sunday August 20th.

Taking place at Honeybrook Golf Club (1422 Cambridge Rd, Honey Brook, PA), the n͓̽i͓̽c͓̽e͓̽things Invitational Celebrity Tee Off is open to the public including single person entry and foursomes.

“I’ve been looking for new ways to connect my music & beer brands in different spaces, this event fit perfectly. Been doing work with Cadillac at the Mann Center all year so when I presented the idea of a golf tournament to them they loved it,” Chill explains.

As part of Cadillac’s involvement they will be offering a chance to win a free Escalade to anyone that hits a hole-in-one on the 10th hole. “I’m feeling like Bob Barker “A New CAR!!” Moody jokingly adds. “Ultimately the bigger play here is to get more Black youth into the sport/business of golf. It’s important to me to always find ways to provide opportunities for the culture, this event is no different,” Chill adds.

Growing up watching golf, Chill stated that he always loved the sport and one look at his IG account and you can say he takes this sport very seriously. “It was probably in 2020 when I bought my first set of clubs that I decided to “take it seriously,” he recalls. Ultimately Chill is looking to take the invitational global with a tentative Miami event this December.

In addition to regular entry players the invitational will also include a couple surprise guest coming out as well as a couple players from the Amateur Golf Society. “We’ll have an afterparty on the course after the tournament and give out our prizes. In addition to the Escalade we’re giving away some new golf clubs, some entry onto some very exclusive courses, golf lessons, a lot of nicethings,” Chill added.

Tickets for individual play are $150 and ad $550 for foursomes and can be purchased at thenicethingsinvitational.com. Player tickets include:

*18 holes of golf, range access and cart fees for the event
*Post-round food and beverage, including heavy hors d’oeuvres stations, beer and wine
*Swag bag courtesy of our sponsors
*Entry into a closest to the pin and long drive contest
*Prizes for the winning teams
*Participating celebrities to be announced!

General entry tickets go for $50 and include post-round food and beverage, including heavy hors d’oeuvres stations, beer and wine.
