MilkBoy Live Shows Are Back This Summer After Over a Year Hiatus!
MilkBoy Philly, the landmark locale of the iconic Philadelphia-born brand located in Center City (1100 Chestnut St.) , kicks off the return of live shows at the famed music venue with their “Welcome Back” show featuring performances by Humilitarian, Post Sex Nachos, and Pep Rally – led by Tommy Joyner, owner of MilkBoy – on Friday, July 9, in addition to a string of killer live shows scheduled well into 2022.
The highly anticipated return of live in-person shows comes on the heels of over a year-long hiatus due to pandemic restrictions. With the ban lifting this month, MilkBoy Philly has decided to re-open the second-floor, expansive venue for a series of in-person musical events starting with the “Welcome Back” show on Friday, July 9.
“The return of live music at our venue has been long overdue,” said Cory Elmi, General Manager of MilkBoy Philly. “We’re ecstatic to welcome back brand-new and returning talents to the stage this year – all the while inviting music-loving folks into our space to make more memorable moments at MilkBoy.”
Guests are welcome to experience an evening of dancing, mingling, and listening to the sweet sounds of Philadelphia-based rock group Humilitarian, indie-rock ensemble Post Sex Nachos hailing from Colombia, MO, and last but certainly not least Tommy Joyner’s fist pumping music project Pep Rally. Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting promptly at 8:30pm and running until 1am. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended as it will be slightly limited capacity, and can be reserved here.
Following the initial bash, MilkBoy has a jam-packed line-up of notable talent scheduled for live performances planned until February 2022. Upcoming events include [but are not limited to] the following:
o Tuesday, August 19 at 8pm: Clem Snide
o Thursday, August 12 at 8pm: Scott H. Biram
