A Philly tradition makes its return.  Christmas Village in Philadelphia presented by Bank of America returns to LOVE Park (1500 JFK Blvd.), City Hall Courtyard, and the North Broad section from Thanksgiving Day, November 27 through Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025, with a Preview Weekend November 22–23.

The city’s largest holiday attraction — and one of the most authentic German Christmas markets in America — will debut a breathtaking 30-foot-tall traditional German Christmas Pyramid, transforming the skyline of LOVE Park with a new, glowing centerpiece that’s sure to become one of Philly’s most photographed holiday landmarks.

Inspired by the centuries-old wooden pyramids of Germany’s Ore Mountains, the new Christmas Pyramid will feature thousands of twinkling lights, rotating festive figures, and an illuminated tower visible from across the Parkway and City Hall. Standing proudly beside the market’s 65-foot Ferris Wheel, double-decker Carousel, and Kids Train presented by SEPTA, the pyramid will symbolize the magic, warmth, and wonder that make Christmas Village such a special destination each year.

“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back for our 18th season,” said Thomas Bauer, President of Christmas Village. “This year marks a milestone with our new authentic German Christmas Pyramid — a project years in the making. It’s a true tribute to holiday craftsmanship and tradition, and we can’t wait to see it light up Philadelphia.”

With over 120 international and local vendors, visitors can stroll through rows of charming wooden booths filled with handcrafted ornaments, jewelry, toys, apparel, home goods, and gourmet treats. Beloved German retailer Käthe Wohlfahrt returns with its signature heated tent, featuring an extensive collection of ornaments, nutcrackers, and festive décor.

Food lovers can indulge in the market’s signature European fare — charcoal-grilled Bratwurst, melty Swiss raclette sandwiches, and freshly baked Strudel, alongside new additions like loaded baked potatoes and crispy churros with drizzled toppings.

To drink, the market’s famous Glühwein (hot mulled wine) from Pennsylvania’s Mazza Wines returns, along with spiked hot beverages from Boardroom Spirits, and family-friendly options such as hot chocolate and apple cider. New this year, the Snowflake Cocktail Bar will feature glittering ornament-shaped cocktails with colorful twists on holiday classics.

Seasonal Fun for the Whole Family

From kids to couples, there’s something for everyone at Christmas Village:

  • Festival of Trees Fundraiser at LOVE Park Welcome Center — supporting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with over two dozen decorated trees.

  • Visits with Santa Claus and the Make-A-Wish® Wall for sharing holiday hopes.

  • Live music, German-American weekends, and a visit from the Christkind, the traditional German bearer of gifts.
