Dietz & Watson is opening a pop-up retail store on South St.
Looks like Dietz & Watson wants to go ham in the retail world. That’s right the company known for their quality cold cuts will join the ranks of the businesses along the South Street corridor.
Apparently, Dietz & Watson is looking to shed their image of an old school company and try and be a little more hip. The pop-up retail shop will be located at the former Net store on 5th and South Street, and is slated to open in early May.
The pop-up shop is the collaborative effort. Dietz & Watson hired brand strategists at Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners to develop the concept and to help push their “coolness.” Red Tettemer helped to launch a Dietz & Watson campaign for their new product “Dietz Nuts,” which is a play off of the viral meme “Deez Nuts.”
Guests to the shop will be able to cop D&W apparel and products. The pop-up shop is scheduled to run until July. We’re sure D&W will have more announcments closer to the grand opening so stay tuned!
