Cantina la Martina Hosts Its Largest Día de los Muertos Celebration With Music, Live Performances, and Authentic Mexican Food & Drinks
Cantina la Martina, the beloved Kensington restaurant known for its vibrant cuisine and community spirit, will host its most expansive Día de los Muertos Celebration of Life yet on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests are invited to honor loved ones through a day filled with music, dance, art, and traditional Mexican food and drink, all set against the colorful backdrop of this cherished cultural holiday.
A Full Day of Celebration and Remembrance
The family-friendly event will transform Cantina la Martina into a lively hub of activity, complete with performances, interactive art, and special programming for all ages.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy special Día de los Muertos-inspired food and drinks, available pay-as-you-go. The restaurant will announce the full menu in the coming weeks on its social media pages.
As part of the celebration, Cantina la Martina will host a communal ofrenda (altar) where guests are invited to honor the memories of their departed loved ones. Participants may bring framed photos to contribute to the altar, either dropped off in advance or on the day of the event.
