Federal Donuts Returns to Center City!
Philly’s favorite chicken and donut shop is back in Center City but at a temporary new location. CookNSolo is reopening Federal Donuts at what was The Rooster on 1526 Samson St.
The Rooster was CookNSolo’s philanthropic restaurant that closed back in 2019. “We’re excited to be back on Samson Street sugaring donuts, frying chicken and pouring tall cups of coffee,” their announcement states.
In celebration of the reopening, Federal Donuts is bringing back the Philly favorite “Irish Potato Donut” just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. The donut is available today only. Federal Donut hours are 8 am – 3 pm Monday-Thursday and 8 am to 6 pm Friday and Saturday.
