Art in the Age is Launching Cocktail Workshops Just In Time For The Holidays!
The holidays are coming up and many folks will be hosting holiday parties or select special guests, so knowing how to make a great cocktail can go a long way. To help bring out your inner mixologist Art in the Age is hosting cocktail workshops.
Art in the Age, Philadelphia’s one-of-a-kind tasting room, home bar supply and bottle shop, is launching a socially-distanced cocktail workshop series with all-new cocktail kits. The workshops will run every Tuesday through the month of October from 5-7 pm in the beautiful garden of the historic Powel House (244 S 3rd St).
During the socially-distanced classes, an expert Art in the Age staff member will guide imbibers as they construct delicious libations made with spirits available to purchase from the Art in the Age tasting room and bottle shop. The spirits produced by Art in the Age sister brand Tamworth Distilling will include Tamworth White Mountain Gin and Tamworth White Mountain Vodka, in addition to New Liberty Distilling’s Kinsey Rye Whiskey. Guests are encouraged to check the itinerary for each class online at artintheage.com/, as some will feature classic cocktails (think Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, and Clover Club), while others offer seasonal — and even spooky — sippers such as the Crypt Keeper and Grave Digger!
For $125, guests receive admission for two and a cocktail kit containing all materials and ingredients needed to craft that evening’s libation. Professional-grade barware and tools will be provided by Art in the Age.
To attend, guests are instructed to select a workshop date and preorder a cocktail kit, which includes admission, on the Art in the Age website at artintheage.com/. Cocktail kits can then be picked up at the Powel House on the evening of the class.
Guests are kindly reminded to remain mindful of social distancing, and to wear a mask at all times when not drinking.
