Bank & Bourbon Offers Some of Philly’s Best Spirits
The Loews Hotel has played host to the now defunct Sole Food for years. Although many have tried it no rave reviews come to mind. Since then the space where Sold Food once was has been renovated and Bank & Bourbon now occupies it. Although only months old, Bank & Bourbon is starting to make a name for itself in the Philadelphia spirit’s scene.
In a beer town such as Philly spirits such as bourbon has been more of an after thought. Bank & Bourbon looks to change this with their extensive menu of whiskey and bourbon, their selection is probably the best in the city. You can purchase aging bourbon, international whiskey, and rye by the oz. This is a great change of place to hang with friends or take clients. If you are not the biggest fan of bourbons this place does offer a great selection of signature cocktails as well.
Aside from their spirits, Bank & Bourbon serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Within their food menu you can find delicacies such as cage free eggs, quail eggs, steak tartare, and chicken liver as well as traditional steaks, burgers, and seafood.
It seems like Bank & Bourbon has covered all the bases and with their central location in Center City. With their modern decor and steakhouse ambiance we recommend this place for happy hours and client meetings. Stop by some time and let us know what you thought of our selection for Spot of the Week! Enjoy!
