Shark Dinner Returns to La Calaca Feliz Tuesday, July 14
“Salty” about Discovery Channel’s Shark Week ending Sunday? Not a fan of cheesy puns? Well, let me help you with one of the two.
La Calaca Feliz, Fairmount’s hit contemporary Mexican restaurant, is having its 3rd annual Shark Dinner this Tuesday, July 14. Diners will get a three-course tasting menu of the kitchen’s best offerings, featuring mako shark as the star entrée, for $29. If you’re wondering, shark is most often compared to swordfish in taste. More importantly, Garces alum Tim Spinner is a master at elevating fish. His black sea bass entrée at La Calaca Feliz is always worth a trip.
Reserve a spot on the patio and get there for happy hour either before (M-F, 4-6) or after (Sat/Sun, 10-12) dinner for $5 margaritas and nachos de la casa – adding short rib for $2 is a must.
