Upper Deck Golf Comes to Citizens Bank Park, Allowing Golfers to Take Swings in a One-of-a-Kind Golf Experience
Upper Deck Golf, a traveling golf experience held inside major stadiums and ballparks across the country, is coming to Citizens Bank Park November 12-15th. The event allows participants to hit tee shots from the stadium’s upper deck down to custom greens set up on the field below.
According to organizers, the experience includes a VIP-style format, with rounds beginning and ending at a clubhouse festival area inside the stadium featuring music, food, beer and additional golf-related challenges.
Upper Deck Golf is played as a nine-hole course. Participants are provided a scorecard at the start of their round. Shots landing on the designated green result in a par, shots landing off the green result in a bogey, shots landing within the inner circle around the pin result in a birdie, and a hole-in-one is possible as well.
Rules regarding outside clubs vary by stadium location, and participants are encouraged to check each event’s website for specific guidelines. At locations that permit outside clubs, players may bring their own equipment, though it is not required, as standard clubs — including left-handed options — are provided at each tee box. For safety reasons, only sand wedges, pitching wedges, 9-irons and 8-irons are allowed inside the stadium; drivers, fairway woods and low irons are not permitted.
Players who bring their own clubs should note that lockers are not available on-site. Children’s clubs are not provided by the event; families bringing children are encouraged to bring their own equipment, though children’s woods are not permitted inside the stadium.
Standard registration tee times start at $79.99 per person, though pricing may vary by location and tee time. Only individuals with a reserved tee time will be admitted into the stadium; spectator tickets are not sold.
