West Philly’s Only Tree Lighting Will Take Place at uCity Square and Will Have Live Music, Vendors, Food Trucks & More

Nothing rings in the holiday season more than a classic tree lighting. For those looking for a tree lighting ceremony that also offers activities, food, drinks and fun, the tree lighting ceremony will take place on December 8th from 4pm-8pm and will be the kick-off to the 2nd Annual Holiday Fest.

For the tree lighting, guests will be treated to live music from @lovegingermusic with other acts to be announced. For those looking to sing their own Christmas carols, karaoke will also be available.

In addition, look for food offerings from popular truck @korea_taqueria , as well as complimentary hot beverages from @ManyHandsCoffeeCo The @uCitySquareBeerGarden will be open for those looking for adult beverages such as beers and cocktails.

If you’re looking for some holiday shopping items, the Vendor Marketplace will also be setting up shop at uCity Square and will feature local crafters, artists, and artisans offering unique wares for the gift-giving season. There will also be plenty of photo-ops with the festive decor including a life size snow globe and a few surprise guests.
