Center City District (CCD) is pleased to announce the return of the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink at Dilworth Park, made possible by an extended 3-year title sponsorship commitment from the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute through 2024. The healthcare provider, whose headquarters is located in Center City Philadelphia, has also served as the title sponsor of the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink since the rink opened in 2014.

To celebrate the ongoing partnership, ice rink visitors will receive one complimentary admission and skate rental pass to the roller rink during the final week of the winter season, which ends on February 27. Guests can begin to use those passes on the roller rink’s opening day, Friday, April 22, and they will be valid through the last day of the season, Sunday, July 17. Session times, admission pricing and other updates will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We are thrilled to partner with Center City District for the next three years on the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink,” says Alexander R. Vaccaro, MD, PhD, MBA, President of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, Richard H. Rothman Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics, and Professor of Neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals. “CCD has been a valued partner of ours for many years and it has been wonderful to witness the growth of this relationship between us.”

During its inaugural year in 2021, more than 20,000 people skated at the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink in search of safe, outdoor entertainment. Now, with a three-year commitment to support both skating rinks, Rothman expands its efforts to promote physical health and wellness while creating positive community engagement opportunities for people of all ages.

CCD is proud to continue its longstanding relationship with the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, whose financial support helps to maintain Dilworth Park as an attractive and accessible public space for everyone.
