This is a nearly 20-year relationship that has recently blossomed into a special pop-up for those that love a great tomato pies. Jiu Dough owner Garri Banar and Guard House Cafe owner Khoran Horn are teaming up for a pop-up on Saturday April 1st at The Guard House Cafe (2275 Bridge St.) from 11 am to 3 pm featuring “not your average tomato pies. Jiu-Dough will be slinging 9.5”x13” pies that can feed up 6 “depending on how greedy you are,” Khoran jokingly add. The pies are selling for $25 a pop and requires a dough reservation, which can done by visiting TheGuardHouseCafe.com. Dough is limited to 25 half sheets so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
