We got the scoop on what’s on the rise this week. Common, Trey Songz, and Nicki Minaj all dropped some must see videos. Check them out here and let us know what you think.

Common – Kingdom

For Common’s latest song ‘Kingdom’ featuring Vince Staples, he links up with Hype Williams to visualize life on the Chicago streets for a hustling teen. As usual Common uses his lyrical prowess to dissect the story and turn it into a life lesson. The dark and powerful visuals provided by Hype Williams take you through the urban struggle from the perspective of a young man trying to get his by any means necessary. ‘Kingdom’ precedes Common’s upcoming album ‘Nobody’s Smiling’, scheduled to be released July 22.

Trey Songz – Foreign

With Trey Songz new LP ‘Trigga’ slated to be released July 1st he dropped the video for ‘Foreign’. On this track he makes his love for exotic chicks evident. This video is somewhat of a prequel to his ‘SmartPhones’ video which was released last month. With an excess of beautiful ‘Foreign’ ladies this track is sure to continue to rack up YouTube plays (It’s worthy of some club spins too).

Nicki Minaj – Pills N Potions

In this video Nicki Minaj tones down her look to show her natural beauty, relying much less on the over the top pop personality that helped boost her to notoriety. The song itself is worthy of pop radio with the catchy hook, but her rap verses help carry this one. The video features The Game as a love interest of sorts.
