Rosy’s Taco Bar is Opening a New Two Floor Location in the South Street Headhouse District

Rosy’s Taco Bar is expanding into a new neighborhood.  Rosy’s which is located just north of Fitler Square on on the the corner of 22nd and Walnut is bringing its contemporary atmosphere and Mexican eats to a whole new audience with the opening of Rosy’s Taco Bar East. The Mexican-inspired pub will bring a similar vibe to its new location at 6th and Bainbridge, near South Street.

Rosy’s Taco Bar East is set to open on Thursday, November 9th. The new restaurant will feature the same menu dishes including  antojitos, ensaladas, tacos, and entrees. The new location will also feature a full bar with a selection of sangria, margaritas, and Mexican and domestic beers for patrons to imbibe in.

“A lot of support has been shown to Rosy’s Taco Bar from our center city residents,” says Rosy’s Taco Bar owner Avram Hornik. “The vision for Rosy’s East was to bring the same elevated Mexican-American style concept to new Philadelphia residents with an emphasis on authentic cuisine. We are also excited about the addition of an event space at this location so that residents can enjoy local talent closer to their homes.”

In addition to the food and drinks, the new location will also feature a second floor for evening patrons to enjoy a wide variety of entertainment from DJs to live music, and more. Conveniently situated in south Philadelphia at 624 S. 6th St., the newest restaurant will accommodate diners and nightlife enthusiasts alike, and will follow the same approach that proved successful at their Center City location.
