Philly Goat Project’s GOAToberFest Returns With Plenty of Brews, Games, a Costume Contest, and More

Philly Goat Project is bringing back one of the city’s most joyful fall traditions as GOAToberFest returns for its fourth year on Saturday, October 18,, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Laurel Hill West Conservatory in Bala Cynwyd.

Guests will spend the afternoon alongside Philly Goat Project’s 13 resident goats, while enjoying a lineup of seasonal activities. The event will feature:

  • Emcee Dominique Lee, bringing comedic flair and theatrical energy

  • Craft beer and beverages from Triple Bottom Brewing, including a custom-labeled beer can designed by local artist Marian Bailey exclusively for the event

  • Lawn games, s’mores by the fire pit, and a goat-themed photo booth

  • Goat art raffles and historic cemetery tours of Laurel Hill

  • The first opportunity to purchase the 2026 Philly Goat Project calendar, photographed by Jessica Kourkounis and featuring the goats at iconic Philadelphia landmarks

Costumes are encouraged, and guests can compete in a costume contest with prizes for the best Oktoberfest- and Halloween-inspired outfits.

Triple Bottom Brewing returns as the event’s brewery partner, rebranding their signature Oktoberfest Crunch Beer with GOAToberFest-themed labels created by Marian Bailey. Guests can enjoy this special-edition beer during the event and purchase four-packs to take home, with 50% of proceeds supporting Philly Goat Project.

Apprentices from Triple Bottom Brewing’s Future of Service Apprenticeship Program—which supports individuals impacted by housing insecurity or the justice system—will operate the bar, offering them valuable on-the-job experience in the hospitality industry.

Bailey has also designed this year’s exclusive GOAToberFest t-shirt, which, like the beer cans, features Ray the goat, a fan favorite who recently recovered from a leg amputation. Ray’s resilience has made him a symbol of strength and hope within the PGP community.

“We’re so thrilled to be celebrating our fourth GOAToberFest,” said Karen Krivit, Director of Philly Goat Project. “This event is not only a joyful way to bring the community together, but it also raises critical funds that support our year-round programs, from literacy and wellness to job training and therapy. Every ticket purchased helps us continue to support our neighbors in Philadelphia through the magic of goats.”
