Matinee Dance Party Is Taking Over Midnight & the Wicked With Early Nights, Big Vibes, and Hits From the 70s to Today
Recently named “Best Party for Those of a Certain Age” by Philadelphia Magazine, the Matinee Dance Party is making its highly anticipated return — this time at a brand-new venue. The beloved daytime dance party will take over Midnight & the Wicked, one of Philly’s premier nightclubs, for its next installment.
Matinee Dance Party offers a unique twist on nightlife — giving guests all the fun of a full night out, just earlier in the day.
Creator and resident DJ Eddie Tully will spin the ultimate soundtrack, mixing throwback hits from the 70s through today, while charismatic emcee Jay The Gentleman keeps the energy high on the mic and on the dance floor.
“We were pleased to see the amount of people looking for its return this fall in Philly, and even more excited that we will be at Midnight & the Wicked,” said Jay The Gentleman.
Organizers emphasize that the formula remains the same:
