A Gathering of Goats Will Transform Crane Arts Into an Immersive Cocktail Party Featuring Art, Installations, and Live Goats

An unforgettable evening of contemporary art, cocktails, and goats is coming to Philadelphia this summer as A Gathering of Goats takes over the Icebox Project Space at Crane Arts on June 10.

Created by internationally acclaimed artist Claire Rosen in collaboration with The Philly Goat Project and InLiquid, the immersive cocktail fundraiser will blend contemporary art, live installations, and interactive experiences centered around the relationship between humans and animals.

Taking place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the one-night-only event will transform the Icebox Gallery into a surreal, living art experience where goats become collaborators, muses, and even performers. Tickets are available at inliquid.org/inliquid-special-events/gathering-of-goats

Guests can wander through a series of imaginative installations, including “The Goat Feast,” a whimsical pastoral scene featuring goats gathered around an elaborate storybook-style banquet table. Another featured experience, “The Goat Art Studio,” will allow attendees to watch goats “create” original artwork that will later be available for purchase as part of the fundraiser.

Beyond the playful and visually striking atmosphere, the evening also supports a deeper mission focused on wellness, education, and community connection.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Philly Goat Project’s animal-assisted therapy, educational outreach, and wellness programming, while also supporting InLiquid’s ongoing efforts to connect artists and audiences through exhibitions, public programming, and contemporary art initiatives throughout Philadelphia.

Organizers say the event is designed to reframe how people think about goats — not simply as novelty animals, but as companions capable of fostering healing, joy, and meaningful human connection.

Founded in 2018, InLiquid’s flagship gallery space inside Crane Arts has become a major hub for Philadelphia’s contemporary arts scene, regularly hosting rotating exhibitions and public events while supporting regional artists through alternative exhibition spaces across the city.
