Philadelphia’s Laurel Hill East will once again transform into a haven for the curious and the unconventional with the return of the annual Market of the Macabre. Taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12 to 5 p.m., the event invites visitors to explore a marketplace filled with the strange, the magical, and the beautifully eerie.

Admission is $5 in advance; $10 at the door. The market will feature over 100 vendors on site, attendees can expect an eclectic mix of goods ranging from unusual antiques and oddities to original artwork, handmade crafts, jewelry, ceramics, clothing, taxidermy, and spiritual wares. Whether you are drawn to the morbidly curious or simply enjoy browsing one-of-a-kind creations, the Market of the Macabre offers something for every taste. Tickets are available at laurelhillphl.com.

Guests will be available to take advantage parking free of charge at The Dell Music Center on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional street parking throughout the surrounding neighborhood. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from local vendors, making it easy to spend the day exploring the grounds. Guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottles.

Set against the historic backdrop of Laurel Hill East, the Market of the Macabre has become a Philly tradition that embraces the city’s appreciation for the unusual. More than just a market, it is a gathering that celebrates artistry, craftsmanship, and community through a lens of the mysterious and the extraordinary.
