Philadelphia Distilling is Hosting a Night Market Tasting Party Featuring 12 Artisan Philly Food Brands

Living in Philly means being spoiled with local artisan food makers from pizzas, to baked goods, to ice cream and so much more.  If you ever dreamt about having all of these brands in one place, you’re in luck.

Philadelphia Chef Brad Daniels and Miami Chef Brad Kilgore, the Co-founders of the artisanal frozen pizza company, Pizza Freak Co., are presenting the first ever Philly Makers Night Market on Wednesday, April 3rd from 4 to 8 p.m. at Philadelphia Distilling, located at 25 East Allen Street in Fishtown. The tasting party and indoor market will feature more than a dozen artisan Philadelphia brands and makers who will serve up and sell bites and packaged goods for takeaway. Philadelphia Distilling, Edible Philly, and Eli Kulp’s Delicious City Philly Podcast are the event sponsors.

Being held within the expansive Tasting Room at Philadelphia Distilling, guests will be treated to sample bites to taste and big bites to purchase, while local makers will be selling their products. Philadelphia Distilling will offer specialty cocktails at discounted prices as well.

Included in the vendor roster are a wide variety of beloved Philly-based small businesses, including Pizza Freak Co., Milk Jawn, Jezabel’s Café (who will be grilling outside), Small Batch Kitchen, Essen Bakery, Dreamworld Bakes, Autana, Jawndiments, Aaji’s, Settantaatre Pasta Co., Fishtown Pickle Project, Side Project Jerky, Mother Butter, and Merion Park Cheese.

“This is an event we’ve wanted to organize for some time, inviting some of Philly’s best non-competing artisan brands into one room to expand awareness about their products while bringing in new customers to experience these local brands,” said Daniels. “We’re so grateful to the team at Philadelphia Distilling for hosting the event, and we’re expecting a really big turnout.”

Admission is free, but guests (who are encouraged to bring their own totes/grocery bags) must register at eventbrite.com.
