The Soon-to-Be Reopened Terra Will Host a Summer Soirée Featuring “Wooder Ice Beer” and Light Bites

Last week Wooder Ice and My Local Brew Works were poised to host their summer soirée. However, due to air quality issues, the event was moved and will now be hosted at the soon-to-be reopened Terra in Fishtown (1104 Frankford Ave.) on June 22nd from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The Summer Soirée will feature a one-of-a-kind limited edition Wooder Ice Beer. Ringing in at 6% ABV, Franklin Frost is an American Wheat Beer that’s available in a variety of flavors including Dry-Hopped, Mango, and Passionfruit.

The event will also feature a variety of complimentary light bites paired with beers as well as sounds from Philly’s own DJ Jovi.  The Franklin Frost beer which was made by the Wooder Ice team in conjunction with local independent bespoke brewery My Local Brew Works, will only be available at this event so when it’s gone, it’s gone. You’re sips will be for a great cause as a portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit local non-profit Broad Street Ministry.

Tickets to the Wooder Ice Summer Soirée are $25 for general admission can be purchased on Eventbrite and include a commemorative tasting cup, three drink tickets (one for each variety of Franklin Frost), one raffle ticket to win a case, and both My Local Brew Works and Wooder Ice swag.  Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase to increase your odds of getting your hands on this rare brew.

As for the venue, Terra will officially opens Thursday June 15th and will operate Thursdays -Saturday 7 pm til’ midnight. “Terra recently optimized our space with the removal of dinner/service tables and will strictly operate as a nightlife venue but will feature light bites such as empanadas, fried queso, and more. In addition more fans and misters have been installed in the shaded areas,” states new Marketing Manager Kay Spence who is joined with a new staff including Events Manager Valarie Teachout, Executive Director of Operations Mike Sobolewski and Lead Bartender Katrina Hayes.

Opening Weekend will feature:
Thursday – Ben Arsenal & Dj Royale @ 7PM
Friday – Dj Sylo & Val Fleury @ 8PM
Saturday – Matthew Law & Kingspy @ 8PM
