One of the region’s largest celebrations of plant-based living is returning to Philadelphia this summer as Philly VegFest takes over Girard College on Saturday, June 13, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The annual festival welcomes vegans, vegetarians, the veg-curious, and anyone looking for a fun day filled with food, wellness, education, and entertainment. The event brings together advocates, chefs, entrepreneurs, wellness experts, musicians, and community organizations for an inclusive celebration centered around compassion, health, sustainability, and culture.

This year’s event will be co-hosted by former NBA star and four-time champion John Salley, Vegan Pop Eats creator Angela Yvonne, and filmmaker, entrepreneur, and activist John Lewis, also known as The Badass Vegan. Tickets are available now on Eventbrite.

Philly VegFest 2026 will feature a packed schedule of activities and experiences designed to educate, inspire, and entertain attendees of all ages.

Guests can enjoy:

Festival organizers encourage attendees to bring blankets, lawn chairs, yoga mats, and friends to enjoy the day-long celebration on the historic Girard College campus.

Early arrivals will also have the chance to receive one of 500 complimentary swag bags filled with products and samples from participating vendors.

Visitors can sample food and beverages from some of the area’s most popular vegan businesses while shopping from local artisans, wellness brands, and advocacy organizations.
