Northern Liberties Restaurant Week Debuts at 20+ Restaurants from April 9th to 18th!

Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, one of the hottest and most notable food neighborhoods in Philadelphia, launches its first-ever Northern Liberties Restaurant Week from Friday, April 9 to Sunday, April 18, 2021. Timed perfectly for the start of nice weather and expanded outdoor dining options, over 20 of the neighborhood’s biggest names will offer two course (plus non-alcoholic beverage) lunches for $10 or $15, and three course dinners for $15, $20 and $25. Look for socially distanced seating inside some of the most beautiful, artful and colorful dining rooms in Philadelphia, plus seating at expansive, flowering and ornate streeteries and sidewalk cafes

“Northern Liberties Business Improvement District is proud to present our first-ever Northern Liberties Restaurant Week from April 9th to 18th,” said NLBID Executive Director Kris Kennedy. “Look for all the things that make restaurant weeks great – from amazing food, great values, chef’s specials, feature dishes, off-menu surprises, beer features, special desserts and more. Our restaurant scene has grown tremendously in the last year. We have seen grand openings, creative pivots, expanded streeteries, embellished outdoor dining, ghost kitchens and many other things that have helped our eateries survive the pandemic. As we looked ahead to the spring weather coming, and more grand openings on the way, a brand new restaurant week was a win-win that will support our growing and adapting culinary scene, while helping us offer socially distanced and safe programming on and around N. 2nd Street.”

For its inaugural year, Northern Liberties Restaurant Week will offer a taste for every palate – with cuisine from around the country and around the world including Vietnamese, Armenian, Italian, American, Chinese, Thai, Mexican and more. Look for everything from tacos to wood fired pizza, Philly’s best fried chicken to comfort food classics, big steaks to big salads, and everything in between. Some restaurants will participate in lunch, some in dinner and others both! The focus is on dine-in options for both indoor and outdoor, plus look for select options for take-out, delivery, legal cocktails to go and more. Reservations are strongly encourages for this first time event, and they can be made with each participating restaurant.
