The number of legendary artists that have honed their craft through the many hallowed halls reads as a “who’s who” in the industry. One up-and-coming artist that is looking to have her name mentioned up there among the greats is Morgan Saint.
Morgan’s hypnotic melodies tend to leave the audience swaying and bouncing along as she navigates them through a rhythmic journey of her catalog. We caught-up with this rising talent at the iconic Ortlieb’s (847 N. 3rd) in Northern Liberties. Known for it’s no frills backdrop, it is the entertainers who illuminate the dim concert hall here and Morgan’s performance was nothing short of radiant.
Giving off a reserve vibe with a hint of shyness, Morgan Saint doesn’t come off a boastful or entitled artist. In fact, her humbleness opened the interview to a wide variety of topics including her dream collaboration as well as the impact she hopes to leave on the music industry once the final curtain is dropped. Her latest project which is an EP entitled 17 Hero, is nothing short of pure enjoyable music.
