Whether you’re in school, a recent graduate or simply looking to change careers, the most valuable thing you can have when settling on a career path is information.  Information not only saves you time by avoiding the many mistakes and pitfalls that come with embarking on a new journey but also money.  For those currently without a mentor or simply have a thirst for more knowledge, Moguls in Media, a locally ran organization that puts on educational events is hosting Moguls Brunch Saturday June 11th.

Over a full breakfast spread, mimosas and the extras at Big Bad Radio Station 319 N. 11th St.t, attendees will get the opportunity to listen to established professionals in the field of fashion, entertainment and journalism as well as get to the chance to ask the panelists questions.  Among the moguls in attendance are Tiffany Williams (Bellargo Piarge luxury street wear brand and Self-made Millionaire), Jeremy Burnett (Actor, Seen on TV shows “Limitless” and “The Blacklist”), Lauren Rei (Radio Personality via Lauren Rei Live Show), Arielle Donce (The Digital Diva), Calvin Purnell (Author) and a SURPRISE MYSTERY GUEST.  Hosted by radio personality Jay the Gentleman of Big Bad Radio, there will be a wealth of knowledge shared.

Founded by Darcel Laurie, Moguls in Media™ looks to empower women in their respected industries as a mogul. When Darcel started her journey in journalism covering New York Fashion Week, as many may know, it can be overwhelming. So networking events similar to Moguls in Media™ saved her during her trying times because she was able to expand her network. As the saying goes, “your net worth depends on your network.” Now, Darcel has had the privilege during her career in journalism to interview designers such as Michael Costello, Stevie Boi and so much more. And she interviewed some superstars like Tyrese Gibson, Misty Copeland, Loretta Devine, and many more.
