Mi Vida Mexican Restaurant Opens in Center City’s East Market Featuring a Contemporary Menu and 130+ Tequilas & Mezcals

A new addition has arrived in Center City as East Market welcomes Mi Vida, the Contemporary Mexican restaurant concept from Washington, D.C.-based hospitality group KNEAD Hospitality + Design. Now officially open at 1150 Ludlow Street, Mi Vida occupies 8,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space within the East Market development.

Spanning a four-acre city block from Market to Chestnut Streets and 11th to 12th Streets, East Market continues to evolve as a mixed-use hub that blends residential, retail, and office space in one of Philadelphia’s most walkable corridors.

Mi Vida’s menu blends traditional Mexican flavors with creative dishes which include:

  • Aguachile Tropical with shrimp, crab, mango, and lime-ash marinade
  • Fajitas ranging from adobo-grilled chicken to pasilla–coffee marinated ribeye

The beverage program features more than 130 tequilas and mezcals, alongside a curated cocktail menu that balances authenticity with innovation.

“Mi Vida has always been about creating spaces where people can gather, celebrate, and feel transported,” said Jason Berry and Michael Reginbogin, Founders of KNEAD Hospitality + Design. “Opening in Philadelphia represents an exciting chapter in KNEAD’s continued growth. East Market felt like the perfect home — vibrant, walkable, and community-driven.”

Daniel Killinger, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at National Real Estate Advisors and President of National Real Estate Development, emphasized the impact of the opening.

“The addition of Mi Vida represents another important step in East Market’s evolution as a vibrant mixed-use destination. Great restaurants activate street level and strengthen the connection between residential, retail, and office uses. We’re confident Mi Vida will enhance East Market as a destination for gathering, dining, and everyday city life.”
