Jet Wine Bar is Celebrating Its 10 Year Anniversary With an Oysters & Bubbly Event!

Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s “global vineyard,” is celebrating TEN years at 1525 South Street. The world-wide wine destination opened in November 2010 as the love child of an archaeologist, Jill Weber, and an engineer, Evan Malone. Their goal was to bring a friendly, accessible wine bar to a great neighborhood — and, I think it’s safe to say, they did just that.

To celebrate ten years in Rittenhouse, the wine bar is hosting an Oysters & Bubbly event in its adjacent garden with Cape May’s Sweet Amalia Oysters on Thursday, November 19 from 5 – 9 pm. Guests can enjoy a selection of sparkling wines from Jet Wine Bar’s thoughtfully curated menu, including three by the by the glass and 12 by the bottle — as well as three sparkling specials, including Creman, Domaine Deliance, France ($15/glass), Spumante Brut, Contratto Millesimato, Italy ($19/glass) and Leb Nat Ruby, Couvent Rouge, Lebanon ($21/glass).

Attendees can further the celebrations by pairing their bubbly with oysters from Sweet Amalia Oysters ($15 for 6 / $25 for 12), farm raised Eastern oysters from tide to table.

Jet Wine Bar will be toasting their anniversary all weekend long, from November 19-22, with the sparkling wine specials, however, the oysters will only be available on Thursday, November 19.
