CraftNation Is Hosting a Summer Camp Arts & Crafts Day for Grown Ups With a BYOB Pizza Party & Plenty of Nostalgia”
CraftNation will host Summer Camp Arts & Crafts Day for Grown Ups on Sunday, August 30, from noon to 4 p.m. The event is designed as an end-of-summer, nostalgia-themed gathering centered on classic camp crafts, with pricing starting at $35.
The event will feature three craft stations:
- A polaroid photo station where guests can take a picture and build a fuse bead picture frame for it
- A shrinky dink design station, where guests can create items such as a necklace pendant, wine charms, earrings or other custom designs
- A lanyard keychain-making station using gimp
The event will include a pizza party lunch, along with sparkling and still water. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages to enjoy throughout the day.
No prior crafting experience is required to attend. Organizers note that guests will leave with three completed craft items from the day.
The event will be hosted by Gabrielle, founder of CraftNation, who has more than 30 years of crafting experience. CraftNation offers workshops on a sliding pay scale, with pricing guidance available at craftnationphilly.com.
