Community, located at 2100 S. 21 st and Federal Streets in Point Breeze, is proud to bring back their monthly guest chef grilling series entitled Grilling with Friends. Each Month Chef/Owner Michael Sultan will pull out his 5 foot charcoal grill and invite one of his Chef friends to join in on the fun and create their own Grill menu at Community. The full Community menu will also be served and tables are first come first served.

The launch event will bring together Community’s Chef/Owner Michael Sultan and Chef William Lindsay of Sidecar and Stockyard on April 15 th beginning at 5 p.m.until 9:00. Grilling with Friends will feature the likes of Johnny Mac, Kathy Mirano of Tambayan, as well as Corie Coles, the 4 th generation farmer from Triple C Angus Farms, who will all cook alongside Michael Sultan on a custom 5-foot charcoal grill located outside the restaurant on the corner of 21 st and Federal Streets. Each event will feature different a-la-carte offerings determined by the guest chefs.

For the first event with Chef Lindsay, the menu will include smoked wings with radish, pickled onions, and feta; sweet and sour ribs with carrot and snap peas; grilled asparagus with walnuts; potato salad with mustard and caramelized onions; as well as tomato and cucumber salad. For dessert there will be a lemon cake with berries and yogurt.

“Being able to man the grill with some of my favorite chefs in the Philly restaurant industry is something I feel very fortunate to be able to do,” said Chef Sultan. “I’m excited to have such talented chefs onboard, and I can promise that we’ll be preparing some seriously delicious food for the community!”
