CITY TAP HOUSE AND YARDS BREWING COMPANY HOST EARTH DAY PARTY

City Tap House University City is teaming up with Yards Brewing Company to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 22 from 5-9pm, featuring brews from Philly’s most sustainable brewery, live music, and oversized outdoor games!

City Tap House University City’s two outdoor terraces are open and guests can enjoy the onset of warmer temperatures while sipping on brews from local Philly favorite, Yards Brewing Company, and playing fun outdoor games, including Giant Connect Four and Giant Jenga.

If the temperature drops while the night’s festivities carry on, guests can cozy up to one of City Tap House’s five stone fire pits and listen to some live jams provided by local 6-piece reggae band, Ear Me Now.

Guests can enjoy a multitude of Yards brews including favorites such as Philadelphia Pale Ale, Brawler, Love Stout, Saison, Nitro Coffee Brawler, Cooke Swap Weisse, & more!

“This event is the kickoff of our spring/summer season at University City,” said Andy Farrell, City Tap House Brand Manager. “The patio will be open, the fire pits will be on, and the beer will be flowing.”

Proceeds from every Yards pint sold will go to Tree Philly, a Philadelphia Parks & Recreation program dedicated to making Philadelphia the City of Arborly Love, and Clean Water Action, a nonprofit organization working for clean, safe and affordable water.

Furry friends on leashes are also invited to enjoy the festivities on the outdoor terrace.
