Spring takes center stage as the Chestnut Hill Home + Garden Festival returns on Sunday, May 3, Germantown Avenue into a vibrant, open-air marketplace filled with plants, art, food, and live entertainment.
Hosted by the Chestnut Hill Business District, the annual festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., drawing thousands of visitors to what’s widely known as Philadelphia’s “Garden District.”
More than 250 vendors—including local businesses, artists, and crafters—will line the cobblestone stretch of Germantown Avenue, offering everything from seasonal plants and garden décor to handmade goods and unique home accents.
Whether you’re looking to refresh your space, shop for spring blooms, or discover one-of-a-kind pieces, the festival delivers a mix of inspiration and local flavor.
At the heart of the festival, Maker’s Village will showcase live craft demonstrations where attendees can:
- Watch artists and makers at work
- Learn new creative techniques
- Engage directly with local artisans
Festivalgoers can explore a wide range of food options, from neighborhood favorites to popular food trucks.

Additionally, Stagecrafters Theater will present special performances celebrating both its 90-year legacy and America’s 250th anniversary.
