Bark Bowl 2026 Returns to Craft Hall With an Indoor Doggy Football Field, Yappy Hour Specials, and Adoptable Pups

The 5th Annual Bark Bowl returns to Craft Hall (901 N. Delaware Ave.) on Saturday, February 7, transforming the popular Northern Liberties spot into a pup-first playground where four-legged athletes take center turf and humans cheer them on with cocktails in hand.

Designed for dog lovers who proudly prefer the Puppy Bowl over the halftime show, Bark Bowl is equal parts playful competition, social hour, and feel-good fundraiser. The event kicks off at 1:00 PM, with dogs rotating into the indoor turf area in 10-minute play intervals, grouped by size. Whether your pup is chasing glory as top dog or simply sniffing out new friends on the sidelines, Bark Bowl offers a safe, structured way for dogs—and their people—to mingle.

Dogs are welcome on the turf and asked to remain leashed when off the field. Craft Hall kindly requests that participating pups are up to date on vaccines and, preferably, neutered or spayed to ensure a fun, stress-free environment for everyone involved.

While the dogs play, humans can take advantage of Yappy Hour drink specials, including playful sips like the Corgi Apple Mule and Bulldog Barkarita. Even better, $1 from every featured cocktail sold will be donated to the Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA). Guests can also post up on the puppy patio and enjoy Craft Hall’s smoked BBQ platters, craft-style pizzas, and family-friendly atmosphere complete with arcade games and a giant pirate ship.

No dog? No problem. Bark Bowl is very much a no-dog-required event, and the PSPCA will be on site with adorable adoptable pups hoping to get drafted into their forever homes.

“We can’t wait to introduce families to their new M.V.P.s—most valuable pups,” said Gillian Kocher, Director of Public Relations at the PSPCA. “We love celebrating with our furry friends while bringing attention to dogs still searching for their forever homes. The whole event is a touchdown.”

Craft Hall’s Dana Canalichio, Director of Operations for FCM Hospitality, echoed the sentiment: “Craft Hall truly is a space for all members of the family—even the furry ones. Kids love the arcade and pirate ship, adults enjoy our BBQ, Mainstay Brewing beers, and cocktails, and dogs get their own space. It’s a win for everyone. Go Birds and Dogs.”

Bark Bowl 2026 is free to attend, but guests are encouraged to RSVP in advance to help organizers plan for a full roster of players. You can reserve your spot at crafthallphilly.com/barkbowl.
