Attention Podcasters and Podcast Lovers: The Philadelphia Podcast Festival is Back for its 7th Year!
Podcasting is one of the fastest growing mediums in the world! In fact according to the latest stats by Nielsen and Edison, there are over 700,000 active podcasts with 29 million episodes! You’d have to be living under a rock to not have heard of a podcast at this point. So chances are either you or something you know either podcasts or listens to one. With that being said the collective podcast community will gathering in Philadelphia for the 7th Annual Philadelphia Podcast Festival!
The Philadelphia Podcast Festival, one of the largest and longest-running podcast festivals in the United States, amplifies independent media made in Philly and across the country. Founded in 2013 as a way to highlight Philadelphia’s nascent podcasting scene, Philly Podfest gives a platform to local media creators and provides an opportunity to bring popular podcasts to the city.
This year the festival will run from July 17th-28th and will feature the super popular podcasts Mueller, She Wrote, RISK! Live, and Yo, Is This Racist? Live!As well as many more!
