All Aboard: SOLEÁ Is Closing Out the Summer With a Daytime Yacht Party Featuring DJs and Live Instruments

After a summer spent bringing a taste of European nightlife to the Delaware River, SOLEÁ is preparing for one final cruise.

Club 215 founder Kev Nichols will host the final SOLEÁ boat party of the summer aboard the Ben Franklin Yacht on Saturday, August 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event closes out a summer run that has seen the Ibiza-inspired series continue to grow in Philadelphia, including sold-out gatherings aboard the yacht.

SOLEÁ was created around the feeling of a European summer afternoon: house music, warm-weather energy, live instrumentation and a setting that feels removed from the typical Philadelphia nightlife experience. Rather than attempting to recreate Ibiza outright, the series draws inspiration from the music, style and atmosphere associated with Mediterranean destinations and brings those elements to the Delaware River. For the August 29 finale, Kev Nichols will be joined by Cream (NYC) and Six (US), bringing together a strong three-DJ lineup for the final daytime cruise of the season. Madigan On Sax will also perform live throughout the afternoon, blending saxophone with the DJs’ house sets as the yacht moves along the Philadelphia waterfront.

The final event of the season will include:

• A three-hour cruise aboard the Ben Franklin Yacht
• Open bar throughout the cruise

• • DJ sets from Kev Nichols, Cream (NYC), and Six (US)

• Live saxophone performances from Madigan On Sax

• • The signature SOLEÁ Toast

• A Mediterranean- and Ibiza-inspired atmosphere
• Views of the Philadelphia skyline and Delaware River

SOLEÁ is produced under Club 215, the Philadelphia-based events brand founded by Nichols and generally associated with sports, nightlife and large-scale social events. SOLEÁ has developed as its own distinct concept within that world, trading traditional nightlife settings for house music, travel-inspired production and daytime experiences aboard the Ben Franklin Yacht.

The August 29 cruise marks the end of SOLEÁ’s summer run on the water and the final opportunity this season to experience the series in the setting where much of its identity has taken shape.
