The Lucky Well is Hosting “If I were a Bey” Beyonce-Themed Food Popup & Costume Party
Attention beehive and all fans of Beyonce, here’s your chance to enjoy great food, great music, and Halloween all at the same time. On Saturday October 28th, The Lucky Well (990 Spring Garden St.) will be hosting the Beyonce themed “If I Were a Bey” food pop-up and costume party.
Taking place in The Lucky Well incubator space, this food and music party will feature food from Amy’s Pastelillos as well as Sri’s Company who will be taking over the incubator kitchen and will be offering their popular bites, available for purchase. For the tunes, DJ KB (from the Lost in Love parties) will be spinning all of the sing-along and dance floor-ready Bey hits. Prizes will be awarded for best costume and will include gift cards to Amy’s Pastelillos, Sri’s Company and The Lucky Well.
“Guests can expect a night full of Beyonce hits and collaborations going as far back as her debut album with her original group, Destiny’s Child. While Beyonce (and friends) costumes are encouraged, they are not required. Beyonce-inspired costumes from her iconic looks, lyrics and appearances, as well as anyone she’s worked with will do the trick. Food and drink will be available for purchase and all guests will be treated to one free drink upon entry. Local distillery, New Liberty Distilling is offering the free cocktail. Prizes for best costumes will be on deck as well,” states co-organizer Amy Rivera Nassa of Amy’s Pastelillos.
