Beyonce And Selena Gomez Battle For Instagram Likes

Instagram recently revealed it’s top posts for 2017 and it’s no surprise that Beyonce tops the list. The Formation singer’s pregnancy is the social media network’s most liked post of the year. The spiritually inspired photo has received over 11 million likes since it was posted back in February.

Apparently, babies were big on Instagram this year. Soccer player and model Christian Renaldo’s post of his newborn daughter snagged him the number two spot on Instagram’s Top Post list. The Portuguese soccer player has been living his best life on Instagram this year by grabbing 3 spots on the list. Beyonce continued her reign by giving the world the first peek of her twins and claiming an additional spot at number four on the list.

Babies are cute and all but Pop Princess Selena Gomez is giving them a run for their money. The former Disney star may not have the most liked post of the year but she does appear on the list a whopping 5 times. This September, Selena shared a post-surgery pic that warmed our hearts and earned her over 10 million likes as well as the number three spot on the list.

I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made.
