Uptown Beer Garden is Back and Better Than Ever
As you may have heard or seen Uptown Beer Garden was temporarily shut down due to minor L&I infractions. However, last week Uptown Beer Garden re-opened for business at 1735 JFK Blvd. The city’s newest beer garden in the courtyard of the BNY Mellon Bank building re-opens in time for Center City Sips tonight through Midnight.
The beer garden took a brief hiatus last week and has added several amenities and new features to make the garden even better.
“Our primary effort was to restructure our space to increase customer ‘flow’ and get drinks and snacks in hands faster,” said owner Teddy Sourias. “The main bar was rearranged to increase open areas for customer service.”
Highlights of enhancements:
* Reconfigured main bar to allow for shorter lines
* New bar in the upper courtyard added
* Table service has been added
* Bar menu expanded to include an additional draft (Firestone Walker Easy Jack), Frozen Margaritas (Blood Orange and .Strawberry), and expanded liquor offerings
Owner Teddy Sourias says, “We would also like to thank our patrons for their support and patience as we handled these matters, and to welcome all back for a fun spot for food and drink for the rest of the summer!”
Hours for Uptown Beer Garden are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Wednesday 4:00pm to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 2:00pm to Midnight and Sunday closed. A portion of proceeds from Uptown BeerGarden will be donated to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).
