Philly’s Traveling Beer Garden “Parks on Tap” Will Make 26 Stops at 19 City Parks This Season
If there’s one thing Philly does well in the summer it’s beer garden. This season FCM Hospitality and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s collaborative Parks on Tap will return to offer beer garden vibes at some of the city’s best parks.
Parks on Tap is a traveling beer garden that will make 26 stops at 19 of the city’s parks all summer with proceeds benefitting each park. Parks offers an atmosphere where “friends and families can meet up to enjoy food, drinks, and fun in a natural green space. Décor includes wooden picnic tables, bright-colored silk canopies, strings of twinkling market lights, reclaimed wood spindle tables, white retro lawn chairs, and hammocks. Each location has approximately 200 seats,” organizers state.
A new park for 2024 is Spring Gardens. The Spring Gardens is an urban community garden in Spring Garden, built by neighbors in 1995. It helps families grow food and flowers for themselves and for donation through City Harvest. See full schedule below:
