The vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors of the Caribbean will once again take over Philadelphia this summer as the Philly Caribbean Carnival returns to Fairmount Park on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Hosted by the United Caribbean Association of Philadelphia (UCAP), the annual celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and promises a full day of music, dancing, food, culture, and community spirit. Tickets are $25, link is located in the @phillycaribbeancarnival bio.
Known as one of the city’s most energetic cultural celebrations, the Philly Caribbean Carnival brings together people from across the Caribbean diaspora and beyond for an immersive festival experience rooted in heritage, unity, and joy.
Festivalgoers can expect dazzling masqueraders dressed in elaborate costumes filling the streets and park grounds while moving to the infectious rhythms of soca, reggae, calypso, dancehall, and steel pan music. The event transforms Fairmount Park into a colorful celebration of Caribbean culture where every corner is filled with dancing, live entertainment, and festive energy.
Beyond the music and parade atmosphere, attendees can also indulge in authentic Caribbean cuisine from local vendors serving favorites like jerk chicken, patties, doubles, roti, and other island-inspired dishes. Guests will also find artisans, craft vendors, artwork, and Caribbean merchandise throughout the festival grounds.
Organizers describe the carnival as more than just a party — it’s a celebration of heritage and togetherness that welcomes everyone, whether they have Caribbean roots or are simply looking to experience the culture.
“This family-friendly event is not just a celebration of Caribbean heritage—it’s a platform for unity, bringing people from all backgrounds together to enjoy the beauty of culture and community,” organizers shared.
The annual event continues to grow as one of Philadelphia’s premier multicultural summer festivals, drawing thousands each year for a full day of celebration in the city.
