Brewerytown is gearing up for one of its biggest annual celebrations as the Girard Avenue Street Festival returns on Saturday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Stretching along Girard Avenue from College Avenue to 29th Street, the free, rain-or-shine event will transform the corridor into a lively, family-friendly festival featuring 100+ vendors, live music, food, and activities for all ages.

Presented by the Park to Broad Arts & Business District along with local partners, the Girard Avenue Street Festival continues to grow as a signature Brewerytown event—bringing together residents, local businesses, and visitors for a full day of community celebration.

Festivalgoers can expect:

  • 100+ local businesses and vendors
  • Two live music stages
  • Food trucks and neighborhood bites
  • Community performances and showcases
  • Kid-friendly activities, including bounce houses and a slip ‘n’ slide

The festival will feature a full lineup of performances throughout the day, keeping energy high from start to finish.

West Stage (29th & Girard)

With a mix of live bands, DJs, and community performers, both stages will showcase the diversity of Philly’s music scene.

Beyond the music, attendees can explore a wide range of vendors offering everything from handmade goods and art to clothing and specialty items. Food trucks and local eateries will also be serving up some of the best bites in the neighborhood, making it easy to spend the entire day along Girard Avenue.
